WHAT DOES KOSHER MEAN?

WHAT DOES HALAL MEAN?

WHAT DOES MAP MEAN?
This abbreviation stands for "Modified Atmosphere Packaging" and means packaging under a protective atmosphere. In this process, the gas composition of a package is deliberately changed during the closing process in order to extend the shelf life of the product.

Control measures (formerly CP) are process steps such as measurements, tests, checks and/or inspections which must be regularly checked and controlled in order to ensure the specific properties of a foodstuff (quality, hygiene, product safety) A critical control point (CCP) is the point in time within a process at which a possible health risk to the end consumer can be avoided through continuous monitoring.

What are preservatives?
Preservatives belong to the category of additives. They are used in the food industry to preserve products due to their antimicrobial properties. This can extend shelf life and prevent premature spoilage. Incidentally, we at Sinnack Snacks do not use any preservatives in our products!
